Play-based Therapy
Play-based Therapy: Play is a natural and essential part of childhood, and a powerful way for children to express themselves, learn new skills, and cope with challenges. Play-based therapy is a form of counselling that uses play as a tool to help children with neurodiversity and additional needs to communicate their feelings, thoughts, and experiences, and to explore solutions to their problems. Play-based therapy can help children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural skills, as well as their self-esteem and resilience. Play-based therapy is tailored to each child’s individual needs and preferences, and can involve various types of play, such as games, toys, art, music, storytelling, and role-playing.

Parent and Caregiver Education and Support
Raising a neurodiverse child can be rewarding and challenging at the same time. Parents and caregivers may face various difficulties and uncertainties, such as understanding their child’s diagnosis, accessing services and resources, managing their child’s behaviour and education, balancing their own needs and responsibilities, and coping with stress and emotions. Parent and caregiver education and support is a service that aims to provide parents and caregivers with information, guidance, strategies, and skills to help them navigate their parenting journey with confidence and compassion. Parent and caregiver education and support can also offer opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect with other families who share similar experiences and challenges.

Workshops on Neurodiversity and Inclusion
Neurodiversity is the concept that human brains are diverse and unique, and that neurological differences, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, etc., are natural variations rather than disorders or deficits. Inclusion is the practice of ensuring that everyone is valued and respected for who they are, and that everyone has equal access and opportunities to participate in society. Workshops on neurodiversity and inclusion are designed to educate local businesses and communities about the meaning and importance of neurodiversity and inclusion, and to provide practical tips and tools on how to create more welcoming and supportive environments for neurodiverse people. Workshops on neurodiversity and inclusion can also foster awareness and appreciation of the strengths and contributions of neurodiverse people.
